-   When I start the system it automatically logs me in under KDE (so I am actually in the system). I want to be
asked a password at the start of the system.

Your help is greatly appreciated...

-   Go to your KDE menu -> Configuration -> KDE -> System -> Login Manager,

-   Launch Mandrake Control Center (normally there's an icon on your KDE desktop),
select Boot then Boot Config, then in System Mode frame make sur that "No, I
don't want autologin" is selected. Click on Ok.
