Dear all Mandriva linux Experts,
hi i am using mandriva linux 2009, and i want to configure/setup a network with mandriva linux as a file server and mandriva at client side.
i want such a setup where madriva linux 2009 should be the file server and all client's whatever work, data should be stored on that server. for that took help of my friend, who is linux admin. he told me to install NIS first. so i tried but that is not getting installed. i found that YPBIND package not getting installed. and YP-TOOLS also not getting installed.
sir please help me with my problem. please give me the right solution for configuring such setup. give me full details and procedure of what to do on server side and what to do on client's side.
