- After install and updating packages re-booted OS and received a message that system could not start because /tmp directory is full. After 2nd install and before updates I viewed the partition info: 74 gb drive. Linux partitioned the drive as follows: sda root 7.8gb. Swap partition 3.8gb and /home partitioned at 62gb. I noticed the root partition was 97% full after install. Is there a way to either resize the partition or delete files out of this directory.
