-   First, I'd like to thank anyone who takes time to read and respond to this. It can sometimes take a little while to help people, and the people who are willing to spend that time are really important. Thank you very much.

Now, onto my problems, I honestly don't care about not seeing Windows Vista on the start up, but if I ever need this laptop serviced, it HAS to be on there...

So, what happened was this: I did the live CD, then I did the install link, it found the two partitions I had, I had it resize one to 15gb and use 15 for Mandriva, easy enough. I used Grub for the bootloader, and now it won't show up for Windows. Anyway, like I said, if this doesn't get fixed, *I* honestly don't care, I love Mandriva, it works perfectly with my laptop and it's a hell of a lot faster than Vista (then again, a computer half this good on Linux will run faster), so I don't care... but my warranty cares!

It's an Acer Aspire 5315-2122, in case you need to know. Thank you for spending your time on me.

-   Oh, I forgot to say that Windows IS still there when I mount the drive it's on.

-   Well, thanks to being bored and not being able to connect to a WiFi that I'm
supposed to be able to connect to, I did a little digging and figuring out
and came up with the way to do it. It was a lot simpler than I had really
expected, I just went to the list in the grub folder and figured out that
hd(0,4) is the drive that Linux is on, so obviously it's not that drive to
load Windows, so I put 0,1 to aim it toward my Windows drive (I hoped!) and
was able to get it... so, yeah, fixed. Fun stuff, I love being bored! :D

Of course, my homework that I was supposed to be doing didn't get done. Oh well.
