I'm using deluge as my torrent client. When i open it from its desktop shortcut, it displays the "Starting Deluge" dialogue in the running programs bar, and then vanishes. No program window, no access to preferences, no list of downloading files without going into complicated and non-informitive procedures, which are really just collections of words and numbers to me, and not terribly useful as i'm not too code savy.
So, my question is, how do i get deluge to work like it should, because it has, and well, and i've clearly changed a setting somewhere, but don't know which one, and can't undo it.
Also, is there a faster torrent client that is as user friendly? Although I like deluge, it doesn't seem as fast as....well,...windows equivelants. Utorrent is so much faster in windows, but i haven't found a linux version. |
