-   I have upgraded to cooker by hand editing the sources. But when I rebooted, I found that it hang on mounting local filesystems, never (I am not patient) writing Ok or failed. That is with either linux entry, or desktop-2.6.25 entry.

Trying desktop-2.6.24 allows my to boot to text mode login. But then I have a problem finding X when doing startx.

Pressing Ctrl-C allows me to continue, but then, others steps fail because filesystems are not loaded. Although at one point, I was able to go to login, but only /drakx was available with very few stuff within it.

I guess this is a bug I should report, although I try to search for it and it seems I don't seems to find other have this problem. Strange that I would be alone, although I do have a bit unsual hard disk setup: Mixing a PATA and a SATA disk, motherboard supporting 2 PATA, and 4 SATA.

Any hint that could help me to pinpoint more what is going on?

-   I have pinpointed the problem to the /mnt/windows partition in /etc/fstab.
Commenting out this line make the system goes up to login screen (text one).
Even doing 'mnt -v /etc/windows' hang without doing nothing on command line when the
line is not commented out, although Ctrl-C would stop it. The type on /mnt/windows is
NTFS-3G. I remember there was a line between two identity not having the same opinion
on this partition, something like ntfs-3g and the kernel don't agree about ...
of /mnt/windows partition.
I also seems to remember to have seen something like FUSE not running message.
