-   Im using mandriva and I want to install WIN XP to, but first I need to create
partition for WIN file system. I tried to create with parted. I cant even resize partition. (File system has an incompatible feature enabled). So where is a problem?

-   Windows wants to be the 1st and only operating system on the hard
drive. Attempting to install XP while retaining your Mandriva
install is a challenge best left for someone with knowledge and
experience.

It would be far simpler to backup what you need in your Mandriva
that needs backing-up, install XP to take-up the entire
drive, "then" install Mandiva afterwards.
