Samba not detecting Windows Shares

I'm trying to use the MCC to set up Samba so I can access files (music and movies) on my WindowsXP machines. It isn't working. It seems it's not detecting the shares because nothing is showing up on the "Access Windows (SMB) shared drives and directories". When I hit "Seach new servers" nothing shows up. I've searched to see if someone else has had this problem and I don't seem to find anyone else discussing it so I'm sure it is something small that I'm overlooking. Can anyone point me in the right direction? Thanks
