-   Hello,

First, please check that the md5sum of the downloaded iso is correct
Download the sha1 and md5 files for this. than follow these instructions:
http://wiki.mandriva.com/en/Docs/Installing_Mandriva_Linux#Installation_does_not_work
To check md5sums from windows you need a software called "md5summer".
You need to check the downloaded file, and IF the downloaded file is
incorrect, you need to re-download it.
If the downloaded file is correct, you need to check that the DVD has the
same md5sum result (command :
md5sum /dev/cdrom
The result should be the EXACT SAME summ as in the md5sum file, otherwise the
DVD has burning errors).

Once done, Please check this
http://wiki.mandriva.com/en/2008.1_Errata#Installation_issues

Are all these correct? they are compulsory to check before we further
investigate.

Regards

-   My iso MD5 files do not match. How do I download the new files or can I pay the
difference and order a box set?

So the download is corrupted.

Please note that:
The iso image is greater than 4 GB.
Internet explorer can handle files up to 2GB maximum, so using it to download
is subject to 100% of chances of failure.
FAT32 file systems can handle standalone files up to 2GB maximum, so even if
using a correct download software you record the download on a FAT32
partition, the download is subject to 100% of chances of failure.

For both cases, contact sc.euworld.status@mandrivastore.com.
