-   Dear Sirs,
we are experiencing troubles with Corporate Server 4.

We have no problems installing it on our Intel motherboard D945GTP
with CPU Intel Pentium D 2,8 GHz and 2 SATA HDD. Whole installation process finished w/o any problem, all packages got installed w/o problems also.

We have there 2 identical 200 GB SATA disks on which are made 2 RAID1 filesystems /dev/md0 (mount on /boot) and /dev/md1 (mounted on /).

Problem occurs when system is switching to multimode (mode 3). Here is console output:

--- snip ---
Checking root filesystem
/dev/md1 clean, 38311/24035328 files, 870343/48048368 blocks [OK]
Remounting root filesystem in read-write mode: [OK]
Activating swap partitions: [OK]
(here is small delay)
raid1: Disk failure on sdb6, disabling device.
--- snip ---

After that hardisk access LED is lighting constantly, but system startup is freezed. Only reset helps.

This unfortunately occurs on original 2.6.12-26mdksmp kernel and on latest -31mdksmp also :(

If I do emergency boot (from installation CD) I can reconstruct RAID array from command line.

New ordinary boot unfortunately again ends up with same error.

If I remove one of those 2 disk (any, no only first or only second) I can start system w/o problems. Of course RAID1 works then on one disk only.
